My family was coming back from Gulf Shores and our transmission went out. We were towed to Ford Dealer in Mongomery. They quoted us $3300.00 to replace transmission. I contacted Allen Robbins through a tip from a local towing service. Allen told me he thought it didnt require replacement, said it was a common problem for Mercury Sables and he thought it would be around $650.00 to repair. Said at worst would be around 1300.00 . Much better than what dealer said. Towed car to his shop. They had it ready at 1130am next morning. Bill was for $780.95 which was 600 for torque converter , 129.95 for labor and 51.00 tax. Great service from an Honest Repair shop. Allen told us that whenever he sees a stranded motorist that he puts them at the front of the line considering they are losing alot of money if they cant get to where they are going. If we had followed Ford Dealers advice we would been out an additional 2500.00 dollars. I will always recommend this business. Keep up the great work. Jim Merrell Huntsville, Alabama
